These photos were taken in Orsha or Орша (in Russian) this weekend when a new friend invited me to spend the night at his grandmothers home. His cousin also happened to be the gold medal winner in the Female shot put in the 2000 Sydney Olympic games! Enjoy the photos from my iPhone.

Wow, what a living room. Awesome peek into someone’s life abroad.
I want to know where she buys her wallpaper….ah, and sadly not in Asia at the moment, I’m back in the good ol’ US of A. Think I’ll be here about 5 more months saving up money, but could very well be in Asia…or Europe…or elsewhere after that. Do you think you will be deported before 5 months have passed? ; )
My husband is Russian and I met him backpacking! I love these photos! I will post my pics too, Russian life on the inside track is heart warming.
I hope you know Belarus is an independent country of Russia 🙂
